1.  HANS JERG HEINTZELMAN was born in Europe, and died 1794 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pa.  He married CATHERINE. 

Notes for HANS JERG HEINTZELMAN:
          According to " The Heintzelman Family" by Raymond E. Hollenbach, Hans Jerg moved to Lynn Twp. between 1772 and 1778. He owned 117 acres in the eastern portion of the township.

2.  JOHANN DIETER HEINTZELMAN (HANS JERG1) was born 29 April 1756 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pa, and died 20 May 1821 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pa.  He married ELISABETH RUCH.  She was born 24 February 1770, and died 13 February 1863.

Notes for JOHANN DIETER HEINTZELMAN:
          Johan Dieter Heintzelman was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. By 1788, he owned 25 acres of farmland in Lynn Twp.

3.  JOHANN DIETER HEINTZELMAN (JOHANN DIETER2, HANS JERG1) was born 04 February 1801 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and died 23 July 1889 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.  He married ANNA MARIA MILLER, daughter of ANDREW MILLER.  She was born 07 August 1802, and died 18 September 1886 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Notes for JOHANN DIETER HEINTZELMAN:
          According to "The Heintzelman Family" by Raymond Hollenbach, Johan Dieter was a farmer and faith healer near New Tripoli in Lehigh County.

4.  DANIEL HEINTZELMAN (JOHANN DIETER3, JOHANN DIETER2, HANS JERG1) was born Abt. 1824 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and died 14 February 1863 in Hilton Head, South Carolina1.  He married ELIZABETH RAUCH, daughter of JOSHUA RAUCH and MARIA CLAUSS.  She was born 03 February 1834 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and died 05 August 1904 in Scheidy, Pennsylvania2.

Notes for DANIEL HEINTZELMAN:
          Daniel was drafted in to the union army in the fall of 1862. He died at Hilton Head, SC of typhoid fever in february of 1863. It is presumed that he was buried there. He left behind a widow and three very young children. The children appear to have been seperated and sent to live with different families.

Notes for ELIZABETH RAUCH:

          In January of 1864, Elizabeth applied for and received a civil war veteran's widows' pension from the federal government. Although , the exact amount of this pension is unknown, it was less than $12.00 a month, since an increase in 1879 reulted in a monthly pension in that amount. Elizabeth received this pension until her death in 1904.
          In the 1880 Census, Elizabeth is living in the home of Charles Ritter in North Whitehall as a housekeeper.

6.  CLARA ELLEN HEINTZELMAN (CHARLES D.5, DANIEL4, JOHANN DIETER3, JOHANN DIETER2, HANS JERG1) was born 17 October 1889 in Steinsville, Lynn Township, Lehigh County, Pa.8, and died 11 September 1952 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pa.8.  She married CHARLES HENRY MOYER 01 December 1917 in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Allentown, Pa, son of GEORGE MOYER and LYDIA SCHLEGEL.  He was born 01 January 1884 in Breinigsville, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and died 05 July 1974 in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
